Good luck on your final ascent!  I look forward to hearing all about it when next we get together.

John:  your courage and strength and determination inspire me.   You're doing it
'in the extreme'.....but some of us need these things just to get thru the day.....I
love that you had this goal and you're almost there.  And, you'll do it!  xsharon friel

John,  We are in the Seattle airport preparing for our journey to Zambia.  We are thankful of the commitment that you have made to this program.  It has made a significant difference in the experience of our Gonzaga students and the community that we partner with. We are looking forward to following your climb from Zambezi.  Josh Armstrong & Zags in Zambia

John I was not fortunate enough to be able to swing going back to Zambezi with Josh and the CLP group this year, but as you make your final ascent, and I sit at home after graduating from Gonzaga, your stories of traveling the world both after college and even to this day are inspiring me to, as you say, "live life large and get involved."  Thanks for your efforts for Zags in Zambezi and thanks for taking time to talk to people, like me, who are still just in the stages of being inspired.  Happy trekking!
